• NOTE: NO personal items are to enter the testing center. PSI will not be responsible for any personal items and suggests that you leave them locked in the trunk of your car.

• Please make sure that you are registering for the correct Life & Health exam. Most candidates will be registering for the Life & Health Insurance Producer exam, not the Life & Health Insurance Adviser exam. You will not be eligible for an Insurance Producer license, if you have taken the adviser exam.
• Prelicensing education through a Maryland-approved provider, or an experience affidavit, is required for applicants. As a condition of initial licensure, and to be eligible to take the required examination, candidates must satisfy prelicensing education requirements. (Note: Your education provider will provide your eligibility to PSI upon successful completion of the course requirements.)
• You CANNOT register and schedule for the examination until your education provider has submitted your eligibility file to PSI.
