  1. I’m required to take the PSI Exam in order to become licensed in my chosen profession . What is the first step in this process?

    We recommend downloading the Candidate Information Bulletin. The Bulletin is the most valuable resource available to examination candidates. All pertinent information for registering and scheduling an examination are located in the Candidate Information Bulletin

  2. I'm a first time user, what can I do in this site?

    This site allows you to register for the test, locate the nearest test center, schedule test, and pay online for the test. These options are privileges available only for registered users. If you are a first time user, we recommend you to create a PSI account before proceeding further.

  3. How can I change my Email address?

    To change the Email address that PSI has on file for your account do the following:

    1. From the Home Page, click on sign-in link.
    2. From the Login Page, click on Click here if your Email address has changed link.
    3. Enter the old and new Email IDs and click on Submit Button.
    4. A confirmation message is displayed which confirms the Email address change from Address1 to Address2.

  4. I want to change my password.

    To change your password do the following:

    1. From the Home Page, click on sign-in link.
    2. Enter your sign in ID and password and click on the Sign in button.
    3. Select the Change password option under the User Info column.
    4. Enter the password you use now in the Current Password field
    5. Enter a new password in the field
    6. Enter the password again to confirm it.
    7. Click on the Change Password button to update the password change in the system.

  5. I have forgotten my password.

    If you forget your password, you have to reset it before you can use the PSI members section again.

    1. From the Sign In column, click on the Forgot Password link.
    2. Enter the Email address that is associated with your PSI account and click on Continue button.
    3. Answer your security question and click on continue button.
    4. Enter your new password and click on the submit button.
    5. An Email will be sent to your Email ID with your new password details.

  6. I want to download candidate information bulletin, where can I find that?

    The link to download the candidate information bulletin is available in the home page of PSI.

  7. I want to find details about the test center, where can I find that?

    1. From the Home Page, Click on the map under the Locate Test Center column OR Enter Zip Code and click on search
    2. The test center details are displayed

  9. Will practice test be similar to live test?

    All our Practice tests have been developed and reviewed by a team of real estate professionals and cover all of the areas tested in the general portion of the actual exams such as real property, property valuation and contracts. Our tests offer in-item feedback, instant online scoring and prescriptive score reports, which will help you to analyze your performance in the test.

  10. Why do I need to provide my SSN?

    Your SSN number or your Candidate ID issued by the state licensing agency, which ever is applicable, is linked to your PSI registration details. This will help you instantly access all your test and payment records.

  11. I have created an account, how can I login?

    1. From the home page, enter your Login ID and password in the Sign in Column
    2. Click on Sign In button to sign into the restricted member's area.

  12. What books are recommended for the exam?

    A list of possible study materials for the examinations is located in the candidate information bulletin.  The reference materials listed were used to prepare the questions that appear on the examinations.  The examinations may also contain questions based on trade knowledge, or general industry practices.

  13. I don't have an account how can I create one?

    If you are a new user you need to register for an account with PSI to access the member's restricted area.

    1. From the Home Page, click on the sign-in link.
    2. In the Login Page, click on the Sign UP button.
    3. Enter your personal details in the Create an Account page and click on Submit button.
    4. Your own PSI account will be created and a confirmation will be sent to your Email address.

  14. I want to buy books, how can I do that?

    To buy books and to surf through other reference materials you can visit our Online Book Store from the Home Page.

  15. Where do I find details about the license?

    The link to find license details is available in the home page of PSI.

    1. Select the State and the Sponsor
    2. Click the find test information button
    3. Select the license type and the portion details, and click on the Continue button.
    4. Select the Testcenter and click on the Continue button.
      OR
      Enter the zip code of the test center and click on the Continue button.
    5. Select the date and month (or date range) to check the available sessions.

  16. I need to take the test again, what should I do?

    If you need to take the test again then you have to sign in using your user name and password and then click on the Apply for a retest link under the My Task column.

  17. My eligibility date has expired, what should I do?

    If your eligibility date has expired, we request you to contact your state client to extend/update your eligibility date.

  18. My registration has expired, what should I do?

    If your registration has expired, we recommend that you register with us again. The default expiry duration is 6 months from the time of registration, but this is subject to the state client eligibility expiry date. If the expiry date is lesser than the PSI default duration of 6 months, then the expiry will be changed to the date mentioned by the state client.

  19. What should I do to take a test?

    If you are a new user you will have to do the following to take up a test:

    1. Signup for a PSI account
    2. Locate a test center
    3. Register for a test
    4. Schedule test
    5. Pay for the test
    6. Apply for a retest (optional) - Only if you have failed or your portion score has expired.

  20. I can't find my record what may be the reason?

    Your Candidate ID which is provided by the Sponsor is not linked or in the process of being linked with your login details. If you are still unable to find your records, contact our help desk for further assistance.
