| • | Due to road construction, Barstow Rd will have land closures off and on starting June 14, 2023 - September 8, 2023. Please allow yourself extra time to reach the Fresno test center. |
| • | Convenience Fee: Please note there will be a convenience charge of $43, in addition to the examination fee, when testing at a PSI site. There are 20 PSI sites located in suburban areas throughout the state which may be much closer and more convenient. PSI sites offer free parking as well as evening and weekend testing times. Select CA PSI Site tests. You can test at one CDI site without a convenience charge payment. Select CDI CA Site test for this option. The CDI site is located in downtown Los Angeles. |
| • | Test Center Requirements: License examinees are required to wear cloth face coverings and maintain the appropriate social distancing at checkin and throughout the license examination process. Examinees will be required to use their own cloth face coverings that covers their nose and mouth and can be secured to their head with ties or straps or simply wrapped around the lower face. |
| • | Email Address: Your scheduled license examination information and your license examination results will be sent to the email listed on your PSI registration. Please check to ensure your email address is correct so that you do not experience delays to receive this important information. |
| • | Social Security Number and Date of Birth: you must enter the same exact Social Security Number and date of birth that you entered on the PSI registration when you are applying for a license with the California Department of Insurance. Incorrect information will delay the submission of your application and the issuance of your license. Please check to ensure your social security number and date of birth are correct on your PSI registration. |
| • | Candidate Information Bulletin (CIB): Thoroughly review the CIB. Pages 5 through 8 details the login procedures and testing rules to prepare you to take the license examination. Please ensure you understand all the testing rules before taking your license examination. |
